Eli finally meets his little brother, Joel....and gives kisses....and posses for a family portrait :)








Yesterday Eli came to the hospital with his Momo & Pops to meet Joel....it went very well and Eli gave Joel a kiss right away :)
Then Momma was able to snuggle with both her boys...

Joel Robert Joins the Family!

Joel Robert Morgan was born on September 25, 2008 at 11:19 a.m. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 3 ounces. He was 19 1/2 inches long. Mara is doing well after the c-section. We found out 2 days ago that Joel was breech and needed to be delivered via c-section. He had a really exciting first day and met not on Mommy and Daddy, but Momo, Pops, Pap, Grandma, Great Grandma James, and Uncle Lee. As you can see, Daddy dressed in scrubs and got to cut the umbilical cord. Tomorrow Joel meets his big brother, Eli. By the way, the song lyrics are wrong. "Thank Heaven for Little Boys."

Here comes baby boy #2

Tonight, September 24th, 2008, marks the last night as our family of three...Baby Boy #2 has decided to turn himself upside down :(

That being said, tomorrow morning we are heading to the hospital for a C Section. My due date was September 23rd, so the Doctor feels it is safest to schedule the C Section immediately and welcome our newest little man to our family.

We handled the news fairly well, until I was told that I can't pick Eli up for at least 2 weeks!!! After my crying fit subsided, Randy assured me that he would put Eli in my arms for snuggles & Mommie time.

So, the next chapter of "The Morgan Boys and their Mom" is about to begin....fasten your seat belts!

Daddy is too cute!!

So yesterday, we came home from school and Eli needed a diaper change. Randy graciously volunteered to do it...he is quite the outstanding Dad when it comes splitting things 50/50 and never complains, moans or groans. (Are Eli & I lucky or what???)
In the meantime, I was unpacking my lunchbag from school and packing a new lunch for the next day. In other words, I was busy and not paying attention :)
So, Randy finishes up and this is the next image I saw...

Peek-A-Boo

Yes, he cracks us up (and himself too!)...even when he is covered in scrambled eggs & grits. Hey, we do live in the south!! The funny part is, when he is done playing around you can tell immediately! He's like, "I'm done entertaining you!" :)
