Bittersweet

Today was bittersweet...It was Eli's last speech session with "May-May" (as he likes to call her!) Starting next week, Eli will be working with a speech pathologist through the public school system. He will be going to the elementary school once a week for therapy and then starting in the fall, twice a week.
"May-May" has made such an impact on Eli, that he even lists her name when we talk about family and when we say prayers. Too cute! He started working with "May-May", about a year ago and has grown tremendously since then- sometimes even spitting out 3-4 word combinations. We are thrilled that Eli is making such progress, but sad to see "May-May" go :(

Eli's 3rd Birthday!

Today was Eli's Birthday...his 3rd Birthday...Hard to believe! The day started off with a round of "Happy Birthday" while getting dressed for school, sharing birthday cake rice krispie treats with friends at school, then on to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant topped off with fried ice cream... and finally, the day ended with a very "special" gift from Daddy!
Quite a lot packed into one day for the little guy :) He will have to rest up before the big Chuck E Cheese Party this weekend!

Familia!

We had the oppurtunity to take the boys up to NJ for my cousin's wedding. Not only did the boys get to meet the whole family, but I had the chance to take them to my Grandparents (Now Aunt & Uncle's) house. It was a photo op. to take a picture of my boys playing on the same carpet that all of us cousin's played on. It's the little things in life...and it's all about family!

This is my mom & her sister, my Auntie Nicole.

Joel and my cousin Josh...he has two sons too, Milo & Alden

This is MY Momo & Pops!

Joel on the famous carpet

Eli & the carpet...see it's an unforgetable carpet :)

Some of my cousins, Michael (the groom), Josh and the only other GIRL COUSIN....Catherine!

Randy & I at Bayonne's famous Broadway Diner...I think I was so happy because they serve Pork Roll :)

Randy & I all dressed up for the ceremony.

Easter 2010

We had a lovely Easter this year...The boys looked adorable (all the credit goes to Momo). The highlight of the day was that after church, we went to Momo & Pops for the boys very own Easter Egg Hunt! It was a perfect day!

DISNEY!!!

How do you sum up a trip to Disney World with an almost 3 year old, 18 month old, parents & grandparents??? That's a tough one....it was an...adventure.
We could have done without the ear infection from Eli, a trip to urgent care & then an allergic reaction to the antibiotics :( Needless to say, he slept a lot and was not himself. (But, he is now on the mend with a good dose of steroids.)
We got to visit Epcot, The Magic Kingdom & The Animal Kingdom. I'm not sure if we should call it "The Happiest Place on Earth"...maybe "The most crowded place on Earth" during Easter ;)
Here are some moments from the week:

Ready for take-off???

One of my favorites....Pops & Joel on the plane ride

The whole gang on our first evening in the parks...Epcot
