Eli's Lilies

When Randy & I first started the adoption process, it began with a basic application to Holt International. On the weekend we submitted our application I was very emotional and needed something to distract me...So, I planted these lilies-Oriental Lillie's to be exact. They have been blooming for several years now and each year they come up it has been a reminder to me of that very first application that we submitted and of the long journey to bring Eli home.

This year for the very first time, I was able to take a photo of Eli next to his lilies.

We couldn't resist buying this onesie while visiting the NBC Store in Rockefeller Center, NYC...



We are big fans of the show :)

It's been a VERY busy week!

Here's a glimpse into the first full week of our summer break:

1. A trip to the D.C zoo

Meet the Godparents

Eli's Godparents, Aunt Lauren & Uncle Roy, are in town for a visit. Here's how they have been setting a good example and being role models to our son! I believe you can hear Lauren saying, "You're going down Old Man!" and yes, she still kicked his butt!!
